Workplace Standards
Gradelog is committed to fair, safe, and respectful working conditions for everyone who works at, with, or through our company. This statement describes our baseline expectations and the standards we hold our technology partners to.
Effective: July 2026 · Questions: ethics@gradelog.com
Gradelog provides equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.
Hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and all other employment decisions are based on job-related qualifications and business need — never on personal characteristics unrelated to the work.
We do not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind — verbal, physical, or visual — whether it originates from employees, contractors, customers, or other third parties interacting with our team.
Any team member who experiences or witnesses harassment or discrimination should report it immediately to management or to our ethics email address. Every report is investigated promptly. We do not retaliate against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
We maintain a workplace — primarily remote — free of recognized health and safety hazards. We comply with all applicable OSHA and ergonomic safety requirements. We encourage employees to raise safety or wellbeing concerns without fear of reprisal.
Working hours, rest periods, and compensation comply with all applicable federal and Texas state labor laws.
Gradelog does not use, benefit from, or knowingly support any form of forced, compulsory, bonded, or trafficked labor. Employment at Gradelog is voluntary. Employees and contractors are free to end their relationship with us with reasonable notice and without penalty.
We do not employ minors below the minimum working age established by applicable law, and we do not engage minors in work that could harm their health, safety, or development.
We respect employees' rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not take adverse action against employees for organizing, joining, or supporting employee associations or labor organizations.
As a software company, our primary supply chain is composed of technology infrastructure providers — Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, and others. We select partners who maintain published data security, privacy, and labor standards, and who operate under recognized compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).
We expect these partners to comply with applicable labor laws and to uphold standards consistent with this statement. We reserve the right to discontinue relationships with partners who demonstrate material violations of these principles.
