What compaction standards apply to UFC military construction projects?
UFC military construction projects typically reference AASHTO T-99 (standard Proctor) or AASHTO T-180 (modified Proctor) for compaction density standards. UFC 3-250-01 (Roads and Airfields) requires 95-100% of maximum dry density for structural fills and subgrade, depending on the application. Some USACE projects specify ASTM D698 or D1557 equivalents. What is included in a USACE compaction QC report?
